weekly photo challenge: grand

Within thirty seconds of seeing the challenge, we knew which picture to choose.

Neuschwanstein Castle in Bavaria, Germany is GRAND – not only in size but also in wow factor! It is the beautiful castle nestled in the mountains and the scenery surrounding it is also grand!

THE most beautiful castle that I´ve seen to this day! Have to plan a trip to see also the rest of King Ludwig´s castles.. I´m looking forward to Linderhof, in particular. They say it´s a stunning small version of Versailles.

Great photo! I have been twice, but was not able to get a picture like that. The inside is just as incredible, if not more so.

A picture-postcard shot. I’ve been here twice… And could hardly see the castle both times!

It is simply gorgeous – we can still clearly remember the day driving around a bend to see this castle high in the mountains! We were so in awe! Look forward to hearing what you think of it, when you go.
