Krista got our attention with the ‘twist’ on our favourite three wise monkeys!
This is our entry for the challenge this week.
It can be found at the United Nations Building in New York – a gun barrel twisted into a knot.

Powerful and symbolic image! Merci, too, for visiting my blog.
Thank you 🙂

A very good picture! And perfect for the twist.
Thank you so much for such a positive comment 🙂
This is fantastic and now and I need to visit the UN building.
Thank you! You should really go if you get a chance! It’s such an amazing and interesting experience!
good shot – hopefully it does not go out the back.
🙂 Let’s just hope it’s not loaded – just to be safe!
That’s a twist!
It sure is – thanks for stopping by!
Twisted on so many levels.
That is making a good point!
Yep – says so much! It just shows that words are not always needed!
cool piece of art – and nice for the challenge – 🙂
Thanking you! We found this challenge quite tough! 🙂
Ban the guns?
Many ways to interpret the sculpture…
I like this “twisted” gun barrel sculpture….if only society could reach a point someday where guns are not an everyday sight
Thanks for stopping by! This sculpture says it all when it comes to violence and guns, huh?
Let’s hope one day it is as you say!!!
Love this one and the message!
It’s powerful, isn’t it? Glad you liked it 🙂
