weekly photo challenge: warmth
While travelling through China, it was very common to see these attached to the mopeds!
Something that will provide warmth …. these look like that they can keep the hands warm in winter! 🙂
Hope you all have a lovely weekend!
We welcome your thoughts.

wow – they just leave the gloves right there eh? pretty cool! and the photo was weird at first – like is it int he invisible man riding? ha! jk nice take on the word warmth!
January 9, 2015 at 11:33 am
LOL – never thought about it as an invisible man riding it. But you are right, the positioning of the gloves like that does give the sense of there being hands inside 🙂
Have a great upcoming weekend!
January 9, 2015 at 11:39 am
so then you have sent he invisible man huh? those wise monkeys have almost seen it all!!! ha!
January 10, 2015 at 9:18 am

January 6, 2015 at 11:02 pm
This is creative!
January 7, 2015 at 9:11 am
It certainly is a clever idea 🙂

Brilliant invention – typical Chinese…!
January 3, 2015 at 7:29 am
It’s always the basic, straightforward ideas that are the winners, huh? Happy New Year!
January 3, 2015 at 8:24 am
The same to you!
January 1, 2015 at 1:38 am
Hahaha, that’s so smart I can’t believe we haven’t thought of it a long time ago!
January 1, 2015 at 8:32 pm
Can’t imagine NOT having those in cold weather… would get to the destination with frostbite??
Happy New Year – thanks for your comment.

I remember seeing these in Korea too. Genius idea!
January 1, 2015 at 8:32 pm
Guess it makes sense when you have to hold onto handlebars in subzero temperatures!
Happy New Year and hope 2015 brings you plenty of adventures!
December 28, 2014 at 9:07 pm
oh how innovative!
January 3, 2015 at 7:27 am
It’s pretty clever, huh? Happy New Year to you 🙂
January 4, 2015 at 12:36 pm
Happy New Year to you 🙂
December 28, 2014 at 8:27 am
What a great idea. Perfect for this challenge too.
December 28, 2014 at 11:26 am
Thank you 🙂 We wonder what happens when it is really hot weather though – maybe detachable ?? 😉
December 28, 2014 at 4:38 pm
That would make sense. What a clever idea.
December 28, 2014 at 7:57 am
Clever entry! I’m still thinking about it.
December 28, 2014 at 11:27 am
Some of these abstract themes are tricky 🙂 Good luck with locating something you are happy with. Hope you have a great New Year!
December 28, 2014 at 7:58 pm
Thank you and the same to you!

Ha ha ha, gloves attached to moped handle-bars – why did I not think of this during my years of riding a mini moped in India?
December 28, 2014 at 11:27 am
LOL – well, maybe you can next time you are on a moped anywhere in the world in winter 🙂
December 28, 2014 at 3:54 am
Good one! What a smart idea
December 28, 2014 at 11:28 am
Thanks! It is a clever idea because you certainly don’t want frostbitten fingers 😉
December 27, 2014 at 7:55 pm
I saw them when I visited last time China as well. However when I noticed people using these it wasstill warm with 25degrees celsius in the morning!
December 28, 2014 at 11:29 am
Well, we were thinking the same… what happens in summer? Guess if its not detachable – they have to wear them as well because they can’t really drive without holding the handle bars, right? Hope you had a lovely Christmas 🙂 We have friends in Germany at the moment who are sharing on Facebook all the snow you are getting!
December 28, 2014 at 8:04 pm
Oh the snow is daly only in the southern part. Here in the north there is no snow at all however we have around zero degrees Celsius 🙂
December 27, 2014 at 6:22 pm
Great pic! Makes me laugh and makes me long for China! Best regards _ Ulrike
December 28, 2014 at 11:30 am
Thank you! It was rather an unique thing for us to see…. Hope you are well!
December 27, 2014 at 5:02 pm
Very neat 🙂
December 28, 2014 at 11:31 am
Not sure what creepy crawlies might think so as well 😉 We think of how the spiders lover our side mirrors in summer – wonder what tries to live in these!
Hope you are well!, Mr K 🙂

A genius thing to have on mopeds. If not for them, maybe some of our hands will be permanently stuck on the handlebars 😀 I hope Sydney’s summer is giving you Monkeys lots of warmth! It’s a bit cool in Melbourne, sadly, and we need to wear jackets.
December 28, 2014 at 11:32 am
Hey there Mabel! Sydney summer is a little erratic still. Sunny days, then humidity, then thunder, then windy, then cool… It is highly irregular 🙂 We don’t know what to expect for tomorrow. Hope you are enjoying the festive season.
December 27, 2014 at 3:06 pm
Hubby drives a scooter here in Seoul, and these are a required accessory for survival for sure! Better would be the heated handlebars though I think! 😉 Happy holidays you 2! 😀
December 28, 2014 at 11:33 am
Hahaha – heated handlebars! Shelley – you should patent that idea and run with it 🙂 We are sure someone who proposed heated car seats didn’t get the idea picked up for a while.
December 27, 2014 at 12:21 pm
Good! So innovative!
December 28, 2014 at 11:33 am
It certainly is 🙂 Thank you for visiting!
