malta through our eyes: a photo essay
It’s been a LOOOOONG time since we were in Malta, 9 years to be precise.
It was a last minute add-on for our trip to Europe, tossing up between Malta and Morocco and we chose Malta.
And were we happy with our choice? Most definitely! It’s another country we want to go back to.
Malta was such a little surprise package and today we were just reminiscing about it. Subsequently, a little photo essay ensued to be shared. Hope you enjoy it!
Have you been to Malta? Tell us about it!
Please feel free to leave us a comment.

I’m so happy I found this post, I’ve been thinking about Malta every day for the past six months. It was love at first sight when I visited back in 2013 for the International Fireworks Festival. You have to go back, so much has changed in 9 years! I wonder why so few people think of Malta as a holiday destination – IMO it’s paradise. Amazing beaches, delicious food and wine, great entertainment for young and old, very cheap and Valletta’s architecture is just stunning. I’m going to feature more Malta posts on my blog soon once I’m done with Crete so maybe check it out in a month or two 🙂

Thanks so much for your lovely and very informative comment. We definitely WANT to go back. We just wish we had the time … it is on the list as is the rest of the world 🙂
We will certainly pay you a visit to check the Malta posts out 🙂

Haha, I feel your pain! My travel to do list seems endless, too, but Malta strangely I have no problem returning again and again and again. It’s definitely special. Check out Skyline Webcams for your Malta fix until you get there. Some cams are amazing and you might be able to catch the show as part of the International Fireworks Festival tonight in Valetta (9pm, 9.30pm, 10pm, 11pm CET):
