weekly photo challenge: extra, extra
The Daily Post challenge was to “share a photo that has a little something extra.” Michelle said: “A beautiful photo is one thing, but a photo with an unexpected detail has personality and pop” and she suggested possibly sharing something with a humorous element.
We tend to not post photos of ourselves on our blog but we just had to share this photo of us on the Royal Mile in Edinburgh back in 2006 with a “cheeky photo bomb” (pun intended) that we never noticed until we were revisiting our travel photos recently.
Hope this is not in poor taste… and you find it as funny as we did! Certainly, a little extra on the side in this photo! 😉 (Thank goodness for photoshop)

As a person who spent their youth in Edinburgh I was drawn to this photo. The funny thing is I had to look at it twice to get what you were talking about! Saw the shadow, but not the lady bending over. My mind works in mysterious ways. Oops! Unwitting tourist, or a casual bystander caught in less than favourable position!

Heheehee – think it was a bit of both 😉 Thanks for stopping by and leaving us a comment!

June 16, 2014 at 5:37 am
Yep! Never would’ve thought we could use this photo in its original state for something without at least cropping it first. 😉

June 16, 2014 at 1:22 am

This is hilarious. Thankfully her pants weren’t sliding down to the ground 😉 Hope you’re enjoying Brazil!
June 15, 2014 at 9:23 pm
LOL – Tell us about it! Lesson we learnt: if we ever are asked to take a photo of someone… just to make sure we look at the whole picture and surroundings for any “unexpected” extras now!
